Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Studiora ("Studiora," "we," "us"), run by Ruth Ayalew and Ruhama Berhan, based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. By using studiora.org you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, please review them with a parent or guardian. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using Studiora
You can browse Studiora without an account. You agree not to:
- try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to the site or its servers,
- use bots or scripts to scrape the site or flood our forms or First Mate,
- use First Mate to create harmful, hateful, or illegal content, or to harass anyone,
Information, not a guarantee
We work hard to keep the pathways accurate and helpful, but every school, college, and program is different, and things change. Course names, requirements, deadlines, and costs vary. Always check with your school counselor and the official source before making decisions. Studiora does not guarantee admission to any school or program, any score, or any job outcome.
First Mate is an automated helper. It can be wrong. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or contact local emergency services.
Links to other websites
Studiora links to resources like Khan Academy, OpenStax, College Board, and competition organizers. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Linking to them does not mean they endorse us.
Purchases
When the shop opens, digital planners will be sold through a secure third-party payment provider, which we will name here before the shop opens, which handles payment. The price shown before you pay is the full price, apart from any sales tax your location requires, which is shown at checkout before you confirm. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. You must be 18 or have a parent or guardian's permission to make a purchase.
When you buy a planner, you get a personal license to use and copy it for your own planning. Please do not resell or share it publicly.
Our content
The writing, design, pathway structure, and graphics on Studiora belong to Studiora. You are welcome to share links and to use the site for your own planning. Please do not copy large parts of it to publish elsewhere without asking.
Credits and licenses
Studiora uses these fonts, hosted on our own server under the SIL Open Font License 1.1: Cormorant Garamond (Christian Thalmann), Inter (The Inter Project Authors), and JetBrains Mono (The JetBrains Mono Project Authors). License files are in /assets/fonts. The globe, compass, and other graphics are original artwork drawn in code for Studiora. The site does not use stock photos or licensed images. Names of outside organizations, courses, and competitions belong to their owners and are used only to describe them.
Disclaimers and limits
Studiora is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We may limit access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, United States, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
